Welcome to Child and Family Centres

Child and Family Centres provide services for children and families. At the Centres we can assist you with information, support and services for all members of your family.

The Child and Family Centres are the anchor of the Early Intervention and Prevention Unit.
The focus of this unit is on delivering early intervention and prevention services and programs and working together to achieve better outcomes for children and their families. It is now known that early intervention plays an important role in building resilient children and healthy families and, in turn, this helps to build strong communities.

The Child and Family Centres, ParentLink, Parents as Teachers, Schools as Communities and the Integrated Family Support Project, make up the Early Intervention and Prevention Unit.

Child and Family Centres
The program provides a range of universal services based on the needs of children and their families, with a strong emphasis on providing outreach services in homes, schools and the community.
